1. If I don’t see an answer to my question, what should I do?

2. The Member Directory fields are not lined up properly.  What is wrong?

You may be running an older version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. Try downloading the most recent version of Internet Explorer.

Member Directory
1. When I try to use the Member Directory, why does it display an error message?

The Member Directory is intended for members only. To use the Member Directory, you must be logged in.
2. How do I search for a member in the Member Directory?

To use the Member Directory, you must:
1. Log in. (This displays the My Account button. If you are already logged in skip this step.)
2. Click the Member Directory button in the left column.
3. Select the information you want to search on. (You can select multiple items in the list boxes by holding down the CTRL key and clicking multiple items in the list box.)
4. Click the Search Member Directory button at the bottom of the page. (This displays the Member Directory Search Results page.)
5. If a one or more members are displayed on the Member Directory Search Results page, then click the member’s link. (This displays the Member Information page.) When done, click the Search Again button to start a new search or the Return to Search Results button to see the results of your current search.
6. If no members were found, click the Search Again button to start a new search.
3. Why don’t I see all the members when I do a Member Directory search?

Not all members have elected to be in the Member Directory.
4. I’m not in the Member Directory, how can I be included in the Directory?

If you want to be in the Member Directory, you must check the “I want the above information included in the online Member Directory. Member information on this site will be made available to NVLPC members only.” checkbox in your member information:
1. Log in. (This displays the My Account button. If you are already logged in skip this step.)
2. Click the My Account button (This displays the My Account page.)
3. Click the Modify Member Information link (This displays the Modify Member Information page.)
4. Click the “I want the above information included in the online Member Directory. Contact information on this site will be made available to NVLPC members only” checkbox until a check mark is displayed in the box. (This checkbox is located toward the bottom of the page.)
5. Click the “Disclaimer” checkbox until a check mark is displayed in the box. (This checkbox is located under the “Member Directory” checkbox.)
6. Click the Modify Member Information button.
5. I DO NOT want to be in the Member Directory, how do I remove myself from the Directory?

If you DO NOT want to be in the Member Directory, you will not be listed unless you check the “I want the above information included in the online Member Directory. Member information on this site will be made available to NVLPC members only." box.  
Member Functions
1. How do I login?

On Member Login area (in the right column):
1. Enter your NVLPC email address.
2. Enter your password.
3. Click the “Login” button.
2. I don’t know, lost, or forgot my NVLPC password, how can I get it?

On Member Login area (in the right column):
1. Click on the Forgot Your Password link. (This displays the Forgot Your Password? page.)
2. Enter your NVLPC email address.
3. Click the Request Password button.
You will be sent your password via email from the NVLPC Webmaster. It can take several minutes or several hours depending on the service of your email provider. NOTE: If you don't receive an email, check your JUNK or SPAM folder.
3. What is my NVLPC email address and how do I get it?

The NVLPC email address is the email address that you gave us with your membership application information. It is the email address where you receive NVLPC email communication.

If you don't remember your NVLPC email address, contact the NVLPC Membership Director at: Membership@NVLPC.org
4. How do I permanently stay logged in to the NVLPC website?

When logging in, click the Remember me on this computer checkbox until a check mark is displayed in the box.
5. How do I change my password?

To change your password:
1. Log in. (This displays the My Account button. If you are already logged in skip this step.)
2. Click the My Account button (This displays the My Account page.)
3. Click the Change Password link (This displays the Change Password page.)
4. Enter your new password and re-type it for verification.
5. Click the Change Password button.
NOTE: The new password must be between 6-20 characters long and include at least one number (0-9) and one letter (a-z) or (A-Z).
6. How do I change my NVLPC email address?

To change your NVLPC email address:
1. Log in. (This displays the My Account button. If you are already logged in skip this step.)
2. Click the My Account button (This displays the My Account page.)
3. Click the Change NVLPC Email Address link (This displays the Change NVLPC Email Address page.)
4. Enter your new NVLPC Email Address and re-type it for verification.
5. Click the Change NVLPC Email Address button.
NOTE: your new NVLPC Email Address must be a valid email address in the form of aaa@bbb.ccc and not being used by another member.
7. I changed my NVLPC email address, but it's not changed on my Member Information page. Why?

The NVLPC email address is not displayed on the Member Information Page or on any page. It is used specifically for communicating with NVLPC and logging into the NVLPC website. The email addresses on the Member Information pages are specific to your business locations and your home information. They are only used for displaying in the Member Directory and Therapist Finder.
8. How do I change my member information?

To change your member information:
1. Log in. (This displays the My Account button. If you are already logged in skip this step.)
2. Click the My Account button (This displays the My Account page.)
3. Click the Modify Member Information link (This displays the Modify Member Information page.)
4. Modify any information on the page.
5. Click the “Disclaimer” checkbox until a check mark is displayed in the box. (This checkbox is at the bottom of the page.)
6. Click the Modify Member Information button.
9. How do I add a photograph to my member information?

To add a photo to your member information:
1. Log in. (This displays the My Account button. If you are already logged in skip this step.)
2. Click the My Account button (This displays the My Account page.)
3. Click the Modify Member Information link (This displays the Modify Member Information page.)
4. Scroll down to "Upload a Photograph" section.
5. Click the Browse button (This displays the Choose File to Upload dialog box.)
6. Select a photograph from your own image files to upload. (NOTE: The image file must have a “JPG” file extension.)
7. Click the Open button. (This closes the dialog box. NOTE: The photo must be uploaded before it is displayed. This is done by completing the steps below.)
5. Click the “Disclaimer” checkbox until a check mark is displayed in the box. (This checkbox is located at the bottom of the page.)
6. Click the Modify Member Information button.
NOTE: Once the Modify Member Information button has been clicked, the photo will be uploaded to the NVLPC website. This may take several minutes.
