About the Event:

Working with adolescents can be both fun and challenging. For many counselors, it can be an intimidating process, especially with those teens that would rather be any place but a counselor’s office. Join Neil McNerney, LPC, as he shares specific tools he has developed in his 30 years of working with adolescents and their families. Participants will leave with specific tools, such as:

How to engage quickly without trying too hard

Goal setting - begin with the end in mind

Red Cup, Blue Cup - CBT with a twist

The Soda Can Technique - ways to reduce temper in the family system

Techniques to reduce parental nagging

And more!

Earn 1.5 Contact Hours for attending this event.
