About the Event:

Whether you call it sexual addiction, sexual compulsivity, hypersexual behavior or problematic sexual behavior, clients presenting with out-of-control sexual behaviors are in need of expert help. They need help getting honest about their behaviors, help exploring the hidden motivations and dynamics driving the behaviors and help creating a plan to grow sexual health in their lives and relationships.

This workshop will provide practical, tangible tools to help you accomplish the first tasks of recovery with sexually addicted clients. Workshop objectives include:

1. Understand the role of addictive thinking and gain tools for intervening and confronting denial, self and other-manipulation.
2. Identify the addictive cycle and learn how to use the cycle as a therapeutic tool with clients.
3. Learn how to define sexual sobriety and help your client create a sexual sobriety and health plan for themselves.
