About the Event:

The Mindful Therapist: Preventing therapist burnout

Self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-care are the critical ingredients to prevent therapist burnout. Whether you are a seasoned therapist or new to the field, this experiential workshop will provide opportunities for self-reflection and to shine a light on the challenges clinicians face in managing stress.  What ways are you currently incorporating creativity, play and rest (CPR) in your day to day living? Personal self-care is the antidote to therapist burnout.

Learning Objectives

(1)    Participants will understand their own personal tells of burnout and how to prevent therapist burnout by incorporating mindfulness and self-care practices.

(2)    Participants will create a map for alignment and flow throughout their day to be in harmony in their life both professionally and personally.

(3)    Participants will learn mindfulness skills to use between sessions to stay grounded and in the present.
