Walk-in registrations will be accepted on the day of the event starting at 9:30 AM.

Refund, Cancellation, and Inclement Weather Polices.
To cancel, please call or email 48 hours in advance or you will be charged for the event. If NVLPC cancels an event, you will be refunded the cost of the event. During inclement weather NVLPC will host the event as scheduled; events will only be cancelled in circumstances when the federal government shuts down due to inclement weather.


About the Event:

The Enneagram is a personality typing system identifying 9 distinct types, based on the habitual ways each types becomes defended emotionally. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each type provides clinicians with a unique tool for assessing and working clients. This seminar will give participants a basic overview of the system and the 9 types, and highlight ways of using it in clinical interventions. Learning objectives include:
  1. introductory understanding of the Enneagram System
  2. understanding of each of the types and what distinguishes them from one another
  3. strategies for working with each type based on their distinguishing features

Earn 1.5 Contact Hours for attending this event.

About the Presenter:

Sarah KT Keely, LPC received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 1994 from Lesley College (now Lesley University) in Cambridge, Mass. She went on to complete two years of post-graduate training in Family Systems from the Family Institute of Cambridge, and 80 hours of training with Dr. Salvador Minuchin. More recently, she has received extensive training and supervision in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and was certified as a teacher of the Enneagram through the Narrative Tradition ( She is currently in private practice in Herndon, VA where she sees couples, individuals and families with young adult children.
